The head of the “Road Police” Nikolay Nedyalkov has been temporarily removed from his post in the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Lovech. This was learned by NOVA, and the information was confirmed by the Ministry of the Interior. This is the third dismissal of a senior police officer in the directorate, after chief Stanislav Velikov and his deputy Georgi Ivanov were disciplinary dismissed.
The reason - an investigation against them for influence peddling and alleged manipulation of car registrations. The former deputy head of the directorate is already on trial for theft of electricity, and his case will be in the Hunting Court in two days, as the policeman has already admitted part of the evidence in the pre-trial proceedings against him.
