Do you have any information on how the cases developed in the prosecutor's office, because during the several official offices, including during the time of Bogdan Bogdanov, the management of "LB Bulgarikum" was changed several times.
This question about the state of the pearl of the Bulgarian economy - the company “El bi Bulgaricum”, was asked by the people's representative from the “BSP for Bulgaria” and former Minister of Economy Kornelia Ninova within the framework of the hearing of the Acting Minister of Economy Petko Nikolov on cases of unprofitability in the companies under the care of the Ministry of Economy.
„This period was full of scandals, with mutual accusations between former and current managements for draining money, for raising prices, for some cars paid in advance that were not delivered, and the money was not returned. There were some fluctuations in the prices of milk products and mutual accusations of importing milk at inflated prices, abuses, commissions. There was tension at the factory in Vidin. And as a result – "several reports have been filed with the prosecutor's office and pre-trial proceedings have been initiated," Cornelia Ninova pointed out.
She recalled that while she was Minister of Economy and Industry “El bi Bulgaricum“ it was an extremely tight, good and profitable enterprise. “We increased people's salaries by 10%, returned a debt to DCK of 9.5 million BGN. – I'm sure you are familiar with this. The company was stabilized and was in serious negotiations with the Japanese company “Meiji” for a long-term contract and on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the relationship between “LB Bulgaricum“ and “Meiji“ for a high-tech laboratory in Bulgaria, which would have guaranteed the development of the enterprise and significant financial income for Bulgaria", Ninova pointed out, but emphasized:
„After the fall of our government, as I said, however, as a result of the politics of several offices of the President, there was complete chaos there – mutual accusations, siphoning off the company, prosecutorial inspections. What is the current state of “LB Bulgaricum“ and how these prosecutorial investigations are progressing, including for the two directors Ivo Lilov and Nikolay Marinov”, turned to the official minister Petko Nikolov Kornelia Ninova.
From the minister's answer, it became clear that there is no information about the progress of the prosecutor's checks.
