A 24-year-old woman died in an accident in Dobrich, the Regional Directorate announced of the Ministry of the Interior.
The accident happened shortly after 7:00 this morning at the junction from the village of Kozloduytsi to the city ring road.
The woman drove her car into the oncoming traffic lane and hit a truck head-on.
She died on the spot, and a child who was traveling in the car was taken to the Multidisciplinary Hospital for active treatment in Dobrich for examination. The driver of the truck is also in the hospital - with a suspected fracture of an upper limb.
For the first eight months of the year, 96 serious road accidents occurred in the territory of the Dobrich region. The number of victims in traffic accidents since the beginning of the year in the district is 11, 119 people have been injured.
