DOST exists and will participate in these elections, because after 2021, when I was elected chairman of the party, we did not participate in many elections. Many people are asking if we are there and for this reason the party leadership decided to participate.
This was shared in an interview with BNR by Taner Alimolla, the leader of the party.
He admitted that they had talks with formations, also separated from DPS, from the time without Peevski, but "we did not reach an understanding".
"We are fighting for the vote of every voter, regardless of ethnicity and religion. In the lists we have Roma and ethnic Bulgarians. Every vote is important to us," Taner Alimolla is emphatic.
He recalled that in the name of their party there are words such as freedom, responsibility, dignity and "we can take responsibility, which many of the representatives and rulers do not do".
Taner Alimolla said that DOST is not in the shadow of Lutvi Mesta.
"The party leadership decides. There is an Executive Council and a National Council, after a meeting decisions are made collectively, not by me personally. The sheets are arranged and as we all know, tomorrow is the deadline and we will submit the sheets", he stated.
And he added that the lists of the DOST include all kinds of people recognizable by places, "but we don't have famous personalities like social media phenomena, etc.".
Alimolla admitted that the DOST program is still being finalized by the management and he cannot share it.
"We are stepping on the basis of strengthening Bulgarian parliamentarism – to have a dialogue between all parties in order to have a successfully elected government", he declared.
