There is no hole in the budget of 18 billion. The finance minister said that we will end the year with a 3% deficit, Asen Vassilev said.
All economists in the country, except Asen Vassilev, agree that there is this big "hole" in the budget. What is happening is thanks to the financial decisions of the last three years and they are moving us away from the Eurozone, said Delyan Dobrev.
During those years there was no deficit because PP robbed the pockets of the state and they took loans, commented Dobrev. Vassilev replied that it was not true.
GERB is firmly against raising taxes, said the GERB candidate.
PP will not raise taxes and rates. There must be an investment in people, education, health care - investment in the citizens of Bulgaria, Vassilev was categorical.
A dispute arose during the debate over highway construction and why construction of key projects had not begun.
