Today the members of the Electronic Media Council (CEM) will listen to the concepts of four of the seven candidates for director general of the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR). This is reported by the media regulator.
According to them, the hearings will be held in sequence, according to the incoming number of the application for participation in the procedure submitted to the CEM. Today, the current General Director of BNR Milen Mitev, Tsvetoslava Georgieva, Helia Chavdarova and Margarit Rusev will present their concept related to the development of the national radio.
Each of them will have 15 minutes for this. There is planned to be time for questions and answers afterwards. The total time is 1 hour and 25 minutes to present a candidate. BNR representatives will have the opportunity to send their questions to the CEM so that they will be asked during the hearing, CEM members explained at their meeting on October 10.
The hearings are the third stage of the procedure for selecting a general director of public radio. They will continue tomorrow with three more candidates - Iva Doichinova – Dimitrova, Valery Todorov and Georgi Daskalov.
The election of the General Director of the BNR is scheduled to take place on October 17. The mandate of the current general director of the public radio, Milen Mitev, expires on October 31.
