"The refusal of colleagues from GERB entering a request that includes an item to update the budget to provide funds for additional compensation for transport workers is a reason for me not to support the special session and refuse to attend. The bonus system could start working in the summer. Mr. Terziev did not respond to the unions' invitation to clarify the details. The structure of the bonus system was finalized in August.

The increase will not be 30%, but will be below 10%, Grigorova is categorical.
"Funding is insufficient, but from the state, not the Metropolitan Municipality. The criticisms of GERD are completely justified. Social benefits are not based on the minimum wage. It's about time we stopped blaming the worker. They adopted the heaviest lines to receive 12 cents per km run, the medium ones 6 cents and the lowest 3 cents. In this way, an average driver and employee will receive less than a 10% increase", explained the municipal councilor.
