From today, the phased start-up of heating in Sofia begins , announced by "Toplofikatsia Sofia" EAD, BTA reported.
First, the schools, kindergartens and health facilities will be supplied with heat, and then the administrative and residential buildings.
The company reminds citizens to open the valves of their radiators to the maximum extent so that additional venting of the heating elements is not necessary after starting the heating, as well as to check their electronic devices for partial distribution. In the event that their display is blacked out, customers should immediately seek assistance from their service company – heat accountant.
It is important that before starting the heating, the customers complete all repairs and fill the drained installations. The heating will not be turned on in the buildings in which the internal heating installation is not filled, because this means that in some dwelling the repair has not yet been completed, specify from "Toplofikatsia Sofia" EAD.
Citizens who, for some reason, wish to turn on the heating in the building at a later stage, can submit an application to the heating district serving them and a signed decision from the general assembly of the condominium.

BTA recalls that at the beginning of the month the Mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev, the Acting Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov, the executive director of "Toplofikatsia Sofia" Petar Petrov and the executive director of "Bulgargaz" Veselin Sinabov assured that there is no danger that the residents of the capital will be left without heating during the winter season. The reason was that "Bulgargaz" EAD has seized the accounts of "Toplofikatsia Sofia" EAD.
