Citizens gathered to protest in Sofia because of the death of 24-year-old Momchil Georgiev. The man crashed near Popovo while driving a motorcycle at the beginning of April, BNR reports.
According to the police, he himself caused the fatal accident for him, but his relatives assume that he was murdered.
At the end of September, dozens of residents of the city of Popovo came out in protest to support the request of Georgiev's relatives to have his body exhumed, as they suspect that he was shot.
Protesters blocked traffic in the so-called "triangle of power" in Sofia. Their protest began in front of the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), after which the gathered marched and stopped between the National Assembly, the Council of Ministers and the Presidency.
