„We are not in the parliament to be friends with other parties. I think that what the smallest party, after the fall of “Majesty”, proposed – I didn't hear it from GERB, nor from PP, nor from those who have more than 300,000 votes – “Revival” and the rest. Their function, after they have the result of the election, is to say what they will do. They have to decide very quickly. And they are silent and talk about the same thing. I guess they don't know what they're going to do. This was stated by MECH leader Radostin Vassilev on Nova TV, commenting on the question of whether his party will be able to work together with PP-DB and ITN given its strained relations and scandals with them.

Now the arithmetic at the moment shows that a possible unification against them has a majority of 122 deputies. If we keep waiting – they will become even less," he stressed.

Vasilev was adamant that “it is not impudent that on Monday his party asked him to head the interior ministry”. “It is not cheeky. On the contrary – it is justified. We may have the lowest score, but now you will see that our MPs – as expertise in the SC – the other parties can only envy us. Because we have approached this work in an extremely professional manner. And our 12 people's representatives will be an exceptional change in the parliament," he is categorical.
