Harizanov: I don't see a problem for GERB to support the declaration of PP-DB

According to journalist Veselin Stoynev, GERB cannot afford to be in an open coalition with DPS - A new beginning, but also cannot afford to be against PP-DB. For this reason, it is difficult to find a majority. There is no option for new elections either.

Harizanov: I don't see a problem for GERB to support the declaration of PP-DB - 1

Electing the Speaker of the National Assembly is the first stumbling block after every election. This was stated on the air of Nova TV by Veselin Stoynev, a journalist and analyst, quoted by novini.bg.
„Our political system is so crippled that this will hardly surprise anyone. If the President of the National Assembly is elected immediately, it will be a surprise for everyone”, commented the analyst Georgi Harizanov.

According to Stoynev, GERB cannot afford to be in an open coalition with DPS – A new beginning, but he cannot afford to be against PP-DB. For this reason, it is difficult to find a majority. There is no option for new elections either.
“Borisov has repeatedly said that there is no good DPS for him. Now let's like Ahmed Dogan a lot because we don't like Peevski, and let's hope that Dogan doesn't grow a new Peevski tomorrow, Harizanov added.

According to him, the purpose of the PP-DB declaration is packaging. “It is intended for their voters and to indicate who are good and who are bad. I don't see a problem for GERB to support such a declaration, since Borisov has already said that there is no good DPS.”

He sees no reasonable reason not to have a government with GERB-SDS, PP-DB and ITN. “However, we are in a situation in which both DPS will try to prove that they have some power and that everything depends on them.”

The abuse of peace, which has long been the monopoly of Dogan and the DPS, is currently collapsing. There is no longer a single guardian to ensure that the Bulgarian Turks are not repressed”, Stoynev also said.

„Even if the caretaker government remains, the problems with the chief prosecutor and the chairman of the Supreme Court remain unresolved, he added.
