< strong>The Bulgarian government is monitoring the situation in Spain in relation to the large-scale floods that have caused casualties and destruction. By order of Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, the institutions are ready to provide assistance to the Spanish side, reports the press center of the Council of Ministers.
If support is requested from the authorities in Madrid, the civil protection mechanism will be immediately activated to provide the necessary assistance. In short terms, the Bulgarian state can also provide tents, blankets and other basic necessities.
Yesterday, on behalf of the Bulgarian government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences and deepest sympathy in connection with the tragic loss of human life in the devastating floods in Spain, as well as hope for a speedy recovery of those affected by the disaster.
