Borisov: Will the partial counting of votes help to have a cabinet? If so, I give 69 deputies to sign (VIDEO) - 1

Already 10 days after the elections, we hear anything but a desire to govern, to form a government and to work in favor of Bulgaria. GERB leader Boyko Borisov said this during a briefing at the party's headquarters, reported a reporter of "Focus".

"I didn't hear anything like that except incantations, continuation of the election campaign and excuses," Borisov said.

The GERB leader also showed a report of the results of the political parties from the last few votes.

"Regardless of the interior ministers, GERB varies between 60, 68, 70 (ed. note - mandates in the parliament). These are the facts". Now everyone is talking about partially cashing the elections. Will this yield results, will it help form a government?. If so, I say “yes“ and I give 69 MPs to sign for partial and complete vote counting. My decision and that of my party will be the election of the Speaker of the Parliament. If they decide to do Uydurmi, we will no longer participate in talks with anyone," added Borisov.

He stated that he was ready to compromise with himself. "When they keep talking to you about an equidistant prime minister and admitted that there is none - I don't see why we should talk to them. There is no good DPS. I will not work with DPS, but I will not allow the Constitution to be violated. I will not allow us to be dependent on Peevski or Dogan, nor will I leave representation to any party. Election campaigning is currently underway. If you have to ask the meaningful question, will anyone manage - the answer is no. Nobody wants it, only GERB", he added.

In his words, it will depend on the election of the Speaker of the Parliament whether they offer consultations or whether to enter a mandate at all.

Borisov mentioned the names of Rosen Zhelyazkov and Raya Nazaryan as potential candidates for the Speaker of the Parliament. He added that the decision will be up to the party.
