Traffic on the “Maritsa” from road junction “Dimitrovgrad” in the direction of Sofia was stopped due to a serious accident, NOVA reported.
According to initial information, a car driver lost control and hit the guardrail. At least two people fell from the car and were examined on the spot by a doctor who was in the area. They were then taken by ambulance to the hospital.
An inspection of the accident scene and clearance is pending before the traffic is allowed on the road to Sofia.
