Today at a meeting of the parliamentary group, the PP-DB will decide whether to nominate a candidate for the parliament and who he might be.
This was announced to NOVA NEWS by Bozhidar Bojanov, MP from the coalition.
„As the second political force, we did not seek support for the Speaker of the National Assembly from the other parliamentary groups. GERB accuses us of wanting the post, there is no such thing, he explained.
According to him, this post requires parliamentary experience.
„Both in the campaign and in recent weeks, we talked about how important it is to have a government. This is not just a marketing ploy. However, what we see from GERB colleagues is a bit strange. Two weeks after the election, no conversation has started on any topic. For example, for the chairman of the National Assembly, which is coming up on Monday”, added Bojanov.
„In 2022 we explicitly said that the figure of prof. Gabrovski commands respect. The problem then was quite a few of the other ministers. In these first months of assembly we saw what we now want to prevent. The moment GERB and I don't agree on something, suddenly the party has an alternative majority with Peevski”, the deputy also said.
