Among the participants in the event will be the Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth in the European Commission Iliana Ivanova, as well as representatives of the leadership of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and development.
On December 13, President Rumen Radev will open a forum in the Bulgarian pavilion within the framework of COP29, together with the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at which the energy connectivity between European countries and the promotion of the production and storage of energy from renewable energy sources will be discussed. Within the framework of the event, on a Bulgarian initiative, an intention to accelerate cooperation in this area will be declared together with other countries.
