"Without dialogue between the two largest political forces, it is difficult may elect the Speaker of the National Assembly. Everything depends on how much Borisov and PP are ready to make concessions".
BSP MP Dragomir Stoynev stated this to the BNR.
"Each of the leading parties must take a step back so that we can really move forward. If there is no such understanding exactly what they are, each must judge according to the commitments he makes. We are no longer surprised that there was a failure of the election for the chairman. When a precondition is set by GERB - as the condition was set for Borisov to be prime minister, it is quite normal for the election of the chairman to fail", he expressed his opinion.
GERB won the elections, but in the end, what is the point, asked the MP and added that if Borissov fails to propose a cabinet, and we go to yet another election - the problem starts to become an image problem for Borisov and for the party itself.
"Borisov must do everything possible, even if he has to, to swallow his ego not to be prime minister. Let there be an equidistant one, let the PP also propose a prime minister, but in the end we must have stability," Stoynev was categorical and listed the problems facing the state and Europe.
"If the authentic protesters come, the citizens take to the streets, not only the political peace will be blown up, but also the civil peace too", he warned.
Voters put the BSP in 5th place, the BSP deputy recalled and added that the first 4 political forces must exhaust the possibility of dialogue in order to reach them. Dragomir Stoynev declared that they are ready for policy talks:
"We can talk about a project government, but only if we have the sanction of the party authorities. This sanction must be motivated and it must be possible to speak nationally, responsibly, on policies. So far we do not have a conversation about policies, we only do a mechanical sum of mandates. This is not a working option".
"We are absolutely transparent and protected from any political agreements. We can sit down for talks and we must sit down for talks. But the outcome of these talks on possible future support for a future government depends on our Congress. In order to possibly have a third party in a hypothetical future coalition, there must first be a dialogue between GERB and PP".
According to him, a future government is possible, but someone has to start some talks:
"Talks are possible, at this stage we can only give support on policies, without the participation of the BSP in power".
"The leading parties must take a step back so we can take 3 steps forward. Until now, I don't see such readiness in Borisov, I don't see such in PP either. If there are new elections, it will be entirely the fault of Borisov and the PP", Dragomir Stoynev was categorical, stressing that the situation in the country is getting worse.
