The expert government is not responsible because it has no political power and support behind it. This was warned by political scientist Assoc. Dr. Ognyan Minchev in an interview with BNR.
"I cannot make a firm prediction as to what type of agreement between the parties there might be to form a new normal government. Creation is becoming increasingly difficult. In the 49th National Assembly, when they made an assembly - it was possible from PP-DB and GERB, while in the 50th National Assembly, 3 parties were needed, today we hear about 4, it is becoming more and more difficult. But will the government be an expert or not? I do not believe in expertise as a basis for politics. Politics is a process of representation of civic interests and accountability. If someone makes a government, let them take it over," advises Assoc. Dr. Ognyan Minchev.
And he added that "the expert has no political backing and support and will be dependent on the political ratio in the NA":
"An expert government hides real political responsibility".
Besides the left and the right in the political crisis in our country, there are other factors, even more important:
"In practice, we have two significant faults in the Bulgarian political system, which play an important role. The first is between status quo and change. It was practically updated 4-5 years ago and we are in a worsening political crisis. Because the battle between status quo and change is not resolved. The status quo has no legitimacy, but it has more power than change, which is less effective.
According to him, "we must be aware and know what we must do".
Assoc. Minchev explained that there is another big gap - between the orientation of Bulgaria as a European country with the Atlantic Union and on the other hand - political forces and factors that swell and demand a revision of this affiliation of Bulgaria with the aim of a Eurasian direction.
The political scientist also made a quick analysis of the behavior of President Rumen Radev:
"Let's see the position of Radev, who strives to expand his powers and deepens the crisis with his appetites for power. His behavior in the last 3 and a half years shows that he is taking advantage of the crisis in the bad version – increases fragmentation to expand its powers of authority. His advisers say that this political system is bankrupt and they talk about a referendum, that a presidential republic is needed.
