When and if my political project is done, and ordinary people decide that they should participate in governance and protect their own interests, then this party will appear. I meet dozens of people a day, working in the municipality also meets me with citizens. Protecting workers is a left-wing policy, not a right-wing one. Undoubtedly, it will be a left-wing party. This was stated by Vanya Grigorova, municipal councilor in SOS, on bTV.
She has no doubt that such a party should exist. However, it depends on what energy people will have.
When asked if she will become part of the BSP, after Cornelia Ninova is no longer there, Grigorova clarified: “I was a representative and candidate of a coalition, not only of the BSP, in the mayoral elections in Sofia. Ninova put herself in the position of an enemy. I was a member of BSP and left in 2013, when Delyan Peevski was proposed as head of DANS. Should I return to the BSP? No.“
„It is not important that we comply with the deficit limits. It is important for people to be well appreciated, to feel good in their own country. This can and should be done even at the cost of exceeding the deficit. Irresponsible politics should not be pursued – when you increase the payments, you should also increase the income”, she also commented.
Grigorova is adamant that insurance should not be increased: “You know what the ceiling of the insurance income is in our country – freezing it is detrimental to the insurance system. A person with 1000 BGN. salary will pay BGN 30 more, and people with salaries of BGN 20,000. and even BGN 2-3 million. are exempt from insurance. If we want to eliminate the gray economy, we must remove the ceiling on the insurance income, increase the minimum insurance contributions, and make insurance in private funds optional. The leakage of insurance funds to private pension funds must be stopped, otherwise pensioners will later wonder why they receive low pensions.“
„I am afraid that we will see many unfulfilled investment projects in Sofia. We saw a very beautiful report by Vasil Terziev, but it is beautiful from the point of view of photographs, but from the point of view of factology it does not withstand the verification of the facts”, she also said.
