Seven newly appeared landslides obstruct the launch of the Mezdra road – Botevgrad at the end of the year.

API announced that the builder informed them in March that there were four new landslides, one of which was at the "Rebarkovo" road junction.

The landslides are registered by "Geoprotection - Pleven" EOOD and "Geoprotection - Pernik" Ltd. in the last two months. Of these, five are along the route of lot 1 – in the section at the "Lutidol" road junction; and between Lutidol is. Nomination.

According to the information provided by API about the new landslides, projects for strengthening and securing the rock slopes will be prepared and approved. At the same time, one of the tunnel facilities planned for the project will have to be extended by about 96 meters.
Therefore, until the start of the strengthening activities and the subsequent performance of all necessary construction and installation works, it will be necessary to continue with the temporary traffic safety organization in the section of the I-1 road.
On the website of the "Road Infrastructure" Agency a draft order on the temporary organization and safety of traffic during construction activities has been published for public discussion until December 22.
