Lena Borislavova: Resignation is only at the will of the people's representatives themselves

Resignation is only at the will of the people's representatives themselves. The Constitution thus safeguards their independence. So it is entirely their decision. Parties on the other hand can decide who to give political support and when to withdraw it from those candidates who were on their lists. And that's the balance we all have to stand behind, so that there is pluralism, but still the party has a reason to be responsible for the behavior of some people when it agrees with them, and accordingly, when it doesn't - to invite them to resign. This was stated by Lena Borislavova from PP-DB upon entering the parliament, quoted by BNT.
If there is a resignation, this means that other deputies from our lists will take their place, which practically means that there will be no reduction in the number of the parliamentary group, added Borislavova
