I have to be the prime minister if they want a strong government to finish work. This was stated by Boyko Borisov after the consultations with the president, quoted by Dariknews.bg.
"If they want some temporary governments, but to have them as regular ones, it will not be strong in any case and we have elections, so everyone can decide. We made a compromise with the election of the Speaker of Parliament. You can't have four times less voters than GERB and leave with self-confidence that you should govern. If everyone doesn't humble themselves and accept that the race ended a month ago, the logical conclusion is this," he said.
The leader of GERB also commented on the requested immunity of Kiril Petkov.
"I have one question - why right now, I also have an answer - for two years these people with immunities, should they ever be asked for this immunity. Whether right now during the negotiations, I can't comment on it because I don't know what happened in this process. I only know that the Bulgarian court and the US department have defined these actions as illegal," Borisov said, adding that he had nothing to do with it.
He noted that under no circumstances would he accept, "those who, with an animal drive, arrested women".
