A 41-year-old man from Kameno has been detained after attacking an ambulance driver with punches, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs-Burgas announced, quoted by BTA.
The "Emergency" team was called to the address at around 5:00 a.m. yesterday. The medical team that arrived on the scene was met by men in a visibly intoxicated state, one of whom showed aggression towards the driver, striking him several times in the head.
The reason for the altercation was a discrepancy between the emergency call and the real situation.
The paramedic reported the incident to 112. The perpetrator of the act - a 41-year-old man - was immediately detained for up to 24 hours by a police team.
The woman was questioned as a witness, and the ambulance driver as a victim. An expedited investigation has been initiated into the case.
