Due to the heavy snowfall and wind, there are serious snowdrifts in certain sections of Vitosha. This was announced by the press center of the Sofia Municipality, quoted by BTA. At the moment, the two roads are temporarily closed for traffic to be cleaned. The movement of buses 61 and 66 has been temporarily suspended until the problem sections are cleaned.
A broken tree has also been removed on the road to the "Zlatnite Mostove" area. Last night, roads were worked several times, pushing snow and sanding the roads from "Boyana" to "Zlatni mostove" and the "Dragalevtsi" district to "Aleko" hut.
Streets in the areas of "Sredets", "Studentski", "Iskar", "Kremikovtsi", "Pancharevo", "Bankya", "Mladost", "Vitosha", "Ovcha Kupel", "Izgrev", "Ilinden", "Krasno selo" and "Lyulin", as well as in the Southern Arc, were worked. 157 snow removal machines have been working on the ground. The situation in the mountainous regions of "Pancharevo" and Vitosha is complicated. The teams of the "Emergency Assistance and Prevention" Directorate are removing broken and fallen branches on the road to the village of Plana.
"Vitosha Ski" wrote on Facebook that the road after "Dragalevtsi" has been closed by the police so that snowplows can pass.
