The search for Nikolay from the Stara Zagora village of Konare, who has been missing for the 13th day, continues, reports Nova TV.
Police, gendarmerie, military and volunteers are searching for the child. The search direction is expanding again to the nearby town of Nikolaevo. At this point, there is no trace of Niki, and the cold weather in recent days is reducing hopes for a happy ending.
The boy, who has Down Syndrome, disappeared on December 17. Over 300 people joined the search. Thermal cameras and drones were used to search for the child. The boy's dog was found alive. The animal appeared near a restaurant in the village and was spotted by Mayor Stancho Stefanov. A helicopter was also used in the operation.
