The new cabinet will be of floating majorities. One of the major damages from this government will be the eurozone - because of the participation of the BSP. This was stated by political scientist Ruja Smilova in the studio of "Hello, Bulgaria".
According to her, the coalition agreement is of fundamental interest. "The political crisis will not be resolved permanently, but new governance formats must be tried, because the previous ones have been exhausted. Citizens are tired of elections and unresolved problems. Political responsibility must now be assumed. Apparently Borisov considered that there is an acceptable MRF, but it is interesting why Dogan's people decided to get involved. Probably because of the momentum gained by Peevski, and also because of a reluctance to hold new elections. The APS does not want to lose the electorate, but to participate in decision-making and this will happen, with their participation in the coalition council", she commented.
Political analyst Georgi Harizanov described the decision for Dogan to be in power as unsustainable. "Running a country with socialists is like running a kindergarten with pedophiles - nothing good can happen. The last cabinets with their participation have been short and crappy - there is no good positive experience. How will inflated state spending be resolved with the BSP in power, inflated income in the state sector, budget deficits, reforms... The SB can get involved in the changes to the Judiciary Act and this could bring it back into new negotiations for governance, if this was the "apple of discord", he believes.
