Residents of Kyustendil are holding another protest, FOCUS reported.
It is scheduled for 12:00 at the place where a serious accident between a car and horses occurred at the end of last year. An 18-year-old girl died in the traffic accident, and two other girls were injured. The section is part of the Kyustendil - Sofia road.
The organizers of the protest have sent invitations to the regional governor of Kyustendil, the mayor of Kyustendil, representatives of the Bulgarian Anti-Fraud Agency and the Bulgarian Road Safety Agency. Invitations have been sent to the director of the Public Transport Authority - Kyustendil and to the former mayor of the city. They insist that the results of the inspection of the road by the European Centre for Transport Policy be announced on the spot.
Experts from the centre carried out a targeted inspection of the road section. The report points to over 20 critical deficiencies on the 4 km long section.
