The PP-DB proposal to increase salaries in the Ministry of Interior aims to distinguish between employees with police functions - those who work in the field with citizens and bear the risks of the profession, from those who have administrative functions under the Civil Servant Act. Slavov expressed hope that the parliamentary majority will support the PP-DB proposal for a Law on the Removal of Communist Monuments. He added that it is right for the mayors appointed by the coalition to begin procedures for the removal of such monuments.
