The PVU says “purpose of the plan”. Because I participated in this plan, I know that this is a plan for the member states to get out of the severe Covid crisis, to restore their economies. We left the plan to them and had agreed on it with the EC. The other countries started receiving billions. This was stated by GERB leader Boyko Borisov, quoted by novini.bg.
“What did the PP-DB do? They supposedly introduced reforms into the Plan so that Boyko Rashkov could become the head of the KPKONPI, then they introduced their oligarchs with hundreds of millions. That's why the PVU stalled. Nowhere in it does it say anything about KPNONPI or anything else. The plan failed because of Boyko Rashkov and KONPI and their oligarchs who got into this deal.
We are not at all bothered by the anti-corruption laws. I don't think that whistleblowers are the most important thing. The whistleblower is anonymous until he goes to court - but he has to appear there, what's the anonymity for him?
If they introduce the legal changes, we will support them. But that's not the reason. The money has been lost after four years of inaction. There will be small payments left," he commented.
He described the request by the DPS-DPS to replace Kostadin Angelov from the post of chairman of the SSU as a tactical mistake. “Wanting a public replacement automatically gives the answer that he cannot be replaced. My patience has long since run out. Yesterday we talked with ITN and BSP. BSP should explain the candidacy for Rosen Karadimov - why they are proposing him, who he is, then we will vote for him. If they do not explain it, or if “New Home” supports him - we will not vote for him. GERB will not be a crutch and a cash cow, for everyone to want positions.”
“The most important thing is to pass the budget so that the state can work in the next 12 months. For February, 1.4 billion is already the deficit. I will wait for Assen Vassilev to comment on it”, Borisov also said.
And he added that until January 1, 2026, he will make enormous efforts and patience. “Let the budget pass and then we will talk about people in the second echelon.”
