It was clear to everyone that the conflict between APS and DPS-Novo Nachalo would continue. Dogan's circle came to power to have some weapons against Peevski. Today we heard some fiery accusations from APS that have no arguments. Delyan Peevski clearly announced that he would support the increase in pensions and salaries and it is not surprising that he supported the budget. If Dogan's people withdraw, it is possible that nothing earth-shaking will happen. The government will simply look for situational majorities.
This was stated on the show "Denyat na Zievo" on NOVA NEWS political scientist Tsvetanka Andreeva, who commented on the upheavals in the ruling party.
"The accusations against Nova Nachalo that they supported the budget are unfounded. If APS does not support the budget on second reading, and Novo Nachalo does, this will be interpreted as statesmanlike thinking on the part of Peevski. For me, now is not the time for elections. One election will throw the country into chaos and timelessness again. For me, no established politician will want to come out and explain to the people that we need to go to new elections. Natalia Kiselova is a politically unstable figure for the coalition, but on the other hand, she is the figure that unites this ruling majority," she added.
"For me, Prime Minister Zhelyazkov is handling the difficult situation. He is a pro-European figure and for me, he must include Bulgaria in this future pan-European policy regarding the war in Ukraine. Europe must provide guarantees for peace in Ukraine," concluded Tsvetanka Andreeva.
