The Central Election Commission decided to send a letter to the mayor of the capital's "Triaditsa" district Dimitar Bozhilov because of a specific section election commission, BGNES reports.
The video surveillance recording shows that the ballots used for voting were placed in a blue bag, and not in the white sack specified by the CEC decision, announced the deputy chairperson and spokesperson for the CEC, Rositsa Mateva, BNR reported.
She added that the decision for packaging and handing over the election papers and materials was not complied with:
"To inform us why blue bags were provided to the CEC, was the blue bag from section election commission 234610009 handed over to the Commission under Article 287 of the Electoral Code, is this bag stored in the room where the remaining papers and materials from the elections on October 27, 2024 are stored," she said Mateva.
The CEC's decision is in connection with questions received by the commission about the elections on October 27 from the deputy chairman of the CEC in Plovdiv, Atanas Maslenishki, related to the packaging of papers and materials after the end of election day.
