I plan for our country to receive both the second and third payments under the Recovery and Resilience Plan within the year. In the first eight months of 2026, we should receive the remaining six payments. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, quoted by novini.bg

Tomislav Donchev also commented on the decision of the GERB-SDF parliamentary group to nominate Plamen Tonchev as chairman of the Commission on the dossiers: "He has experience, he is not clearly politically colored, I think he would be a good candidate".
The Deputy Prime Minister stated that heading the Commission would be a "natural career extension" for the head of SANS.
