Residents of the Sofia neighborhood "Zaharna Fabrika" have once again taken to the streets, BNT reports. They once again blocked "Slivnitsa" Blvd.
The demonstrators insist that the Sofia Municipality come up with a decision where to accommodate them. The protesters point out that 27 days after the demolition of their homes, they are sleeping outside.
They note that they have no other alternative. The residents of "Zaharna Fabrika" are ready to continue with the protests until their problem is resolved.
We recall that the residents whose illegal buildings were demolished announced a 5-day protest.
The European Court of Human Rights called on the Bulgarian authorities to provide shelter to the people, but the municipal administration claims that they cannot offer municipal housing because most of them have address registration in other settlements.
