The campaign to sell 30% of Botev (Plovdiv) shares is unsuccessful, the club announced in an official statement on Facebook, BTA reported.
The management of the "yellow-black" stated its readiness to return the funds invested in the shares to those who participated and expressed satisfaction with the demonstrated empathy.
BTA recalls that at the end of March, the owner of the "canaries" Anton Zingarevich, who is banned from entering Bulgaria for 10 years, announced that he would part with 30% of the club's shares. They were transferred to the "PFC Botev" Association, which launched a procedure for their sale.

On 04.04.2025, as a result of the majority owner's desire to find partners among the "yellow-black" community, a campaign was initiated to sell 30% of the club's shares. The same was carried out in partnership with the minority owner "PFC Botev Association" as a guarantor of its transparency.
The past campaign did not achieve the desired financial results, which is why all those who participated in it will have their invested funds returned. However, the management of PFC "Botev" is satisfied with the demonstrated involvement of all companies, organizations and ordinary Botev fans, who have proven their loyalty and faith in the future of the club. As a sign of gratitude to all of them, PFC “Botev“ and “PFK Botev Association“ invite the people who purchased the shares of PFC “Botev“ AD, to a working meeting, where topical topics for the club will be discussed. The meeting will be held on 19.05.2025 (Monday), at 18:00 in Lounge 1912, “Hristo Botev“ stadium, “Iztochen“ 10, Plovdiv”, reads the official statement from the management of Botev (Plovdiv).
