Aggressive crows are attacking people in the capital's "Winnie the Pooh" kindergarten. Children and parents are in shock. The staff refuses to take the children outside. A teacher, attacked in the back and pecked to the point of bleeding, is one of the victims. The crow dug its claws into the head of the woman, who was taken to the emergency room. The director of the kindergarten has forbidden the teachers from spreading information about the case, Nova TV reports.
The birds are in the breeding season and are protecting their young, experts explain and warn that the situation is serious. A drone of the capital's emergency squad has also become the object of an attack.
“For three weeks, no one has been able to deal with the problem”, commented Plamen Penchev, whose child attends the kindergarten. He himself called the Sofia Municipality and reported that the children had been held hostage by the aggressive birds for more than two weeks.
The Directorate of Emergency Assistance and Protection has launched a drone to fly over the area to find the crows' nest, explained its director Krasimir Dimitrov. After consulting with specialists, it turned out that the black birds are afraid of the color white. That is why the Municipality placed white flags around the school yard. Dimitrov explained that sounds imitating a crow in distress will be transmitted to the kindergarten, which will also scare away the aggressive birds. The children will be taken out under the supervision of employees of the Directorate of Emergency Assistance and Protection.
