An orange or yellow code has been declared for almost all regions of Bulgaria - except for Shumen, Varna, Dobrich and Burgas, BNR reported.
During the day it will remain hot with maximum temperatures between 35° and 40°, slightly lower in the northeastern regions and along the sea coast. It will be sunny, but later in the day under the influence of a cold atmospheric front, mainly over the western half of the country, and during the night against Saturday and over the northeastern regions, the air mass will become unstable. Cumulus and cumulus-rainy cloudiness will develop, there will be short-term precipitation, with thunderstorms and temporary wind strengthening. There will also be hail. In Eastern Bulgaria, a weak to moderate wind will blow from the southeast. After noon, the wind will start to orient from the northwest, it will strengthen and on Saturday night, cool air will start to invade.
It will be mostly sunny and warm in the mountains. After noon, cumulus clouds will develop and later during the day and on Saturday night, there will be short-term precipitation with thunderstorms. Hail is also expected. There will be a light, at higher altitudes moderate wind from the north-northwest, which will begin to strengthen in the evening. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 29°, at 2000 meters - around 21°.
It will be sunny along the Black Sea coast. There will be a light to moderate wind from the east, after noon and in the evening from the south-southeast. The maximum temperatures will be between 29° and 31°. The sea water temperature is 22°-25°. The sea will be 1-2 points.
