Dimitar Avramov: The vote of no confidence is a form of ringing a bell, which shows that our people do not like those on the other side - 1

The majority is complicated. The opposition, if it wants to be adequate, must focus on gaining public trust. He said this in "From the Day" on BNT, political scientist Dimitar Avramov on the occasion of the rejected earlier today third vote of no confidence against the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet, submitted by "Vazrazhdane", MECH and "Velichye".
The opposition does not always submit a vote of no confidence to overthrow the government, but also to show how it would govern. But in Bulgaria, there is currently no hypothesis that the opposition could soon come to power, said political scientist Strahil Deliyski, quoted by novini.bg.

This is a form of bell ringing that wants to show that our people do not like those on the other side, Avramov added.
There are currently problems everywhere that are not being solved, such as in healthcare and the transport system, he pointed out.

I have a hypothesis that the problems are not being solved because there is no political clash for them. If different parties present different interests, different solutions to the problem, if there is political competition, then the likelihood of moving towards solving these problems is much greater. First, the problems must be named, commented Deliyski.

For years, I have seen one problem - that the government is getting bigger, more and more people work in the administration, which means more and more state spending. This is not a sustainable model, it creates abuses of power and bad patterns of behavior. Bulgaria must choose some model for behavior and functioning of society. We must find criteria and look for good European practices, said Dimitar Avramov.
