On one of the hottest days this summer, when thermometers in Southern Bulgaria showed nearly 38 degrees, an unexpected summer rain brought coolness. The drop was as much as 10 degrees in part of the Rhodope Mountains. In an hour in Chepelare and Pamporovo, heavy rainfall turned streets into rivers, Nova TV reported.
