I informed the mayor of my desire to resign from the post of Deputy Mayor for Finance of the Sofia Municipality. Yesterday, I also informed the citizens of Sofia about my decision, he pointed out.
I will remain in office until the situation caused by the desire of the Municipal Bank to unilaterally terminate its contract with the Sofia Municipality is resolved, Ivan Vassilev also emphasized.
According to him, the administration is ready to create a commission, conduct a procedure and select a temporary bank for the municipality. Three municipal councilors have joined it.
According to Vassilev, a new bank serving the Sofia Municipality should be selected by the beginning of September.
