The Sofia-Varna road is closed due to a fire, at the Boaza road junction in Lovech.
Dry grass and bushes are burning, there is smoke.
Three fire engines are on the scene.
The traffic in the direction of Varna is stopped for all vehicles, and a detour route has been introduced in the direction of Sofia through the village of Glozhene.
There is no danger to people or property, the Ministry of Interior's Regional Office - Lovech indicated.
From the "Road Infrastructure" Agency (API) announced that due to the fire, traffic is temporarily restricted in both directions on the I-4 Koritna - Bulgarian Spring - Sevlievo road in the Bulgarian Spring area.
In the direction of Sofia, the bypass route is road III-305 - Assen - Glozhene - Zorenishki Dol - Yablanitsa, API specified.
