Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov congratulated all Bulgarians on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the Unification of Bulgaria. "This page of Bulgarian history carries a powerful patriotic charge and remains an enduring example of strong popular will and statesmanship", Zhelyazkov wrote on the Council of Ministers' Facebook page, quoted by BNT.
"Today we honor the work of our heroes and revolutionaries, whose sense of justice and national belonging gave them the courage, strength and courage to put the interests of Bulgaria above all else. "History has repeatedly shown us that unity is the right choice that brings prosperity to our country and to all of us. Whenever we are together, and join forces with a sense of responsibility for our common future, that horizon opens before us that unwaveringly outlines the prosperity of Bulgaria in the future," the Prime Minister also wrote.
