Service “Military Police“ has established an attempt at fraud through the conclusion of real estate transactions. Fake documents were used, which were given the appearance of originating from the Ministry of Defence.
Properties in Sofia are offered to potential buyers with false ownership contracts as acquired by the Ministry of Defense pursuant to Art. 9. from Decree 463/07.09.1950 on the creation of a housing fund at the Ministry of National Defense (MNO), repealed in 1996, specifies “Military Police”.
Contracts containing the requisites of real ones, concluded in accordance with the Decree, were used before notaries, but the data about the property, the subject of the contract, as well as the owner's content were incorrect.
Actions have been taken to notify the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as the authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as it concerns persons outside the competence of the “Military Police” Service.
