Two landmark cases will be heard today. The first is against Viktor Spiga, who is accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend Alena Shterk. The 47-year-old woman was found dead after a search in an illegal landfill near Radomir in May 2022.
Michal Tsenkov, who is accused of murdering 77-year-old Stoimenko Dyakova, will also appear in court. The attack on the woman was carried out on election night on October 27-28 last year.
According to investigators, the 43-year-old repeat offender stalked her, stole her gold cross and knocked her down.
