A man who stabbed two people in front of a hotel in Zlatograd was arrested. The building was cordoned off with police tape. There were many witnesses at the scene.
The incident happened in front of the “Crystal“ hotel. The call was made around 1:00 this morning. The man injured two people with a knife.
Fortunately, there were no serious injuries. One of the men was examined in a hospital and discharged for home treatment, and the other will be under observation in a medical facility today, BTA reported.
The victims are from settlements in the municipality of Zlatograd. Some of the witnesses who were at the scene of the accident are still being questioned.
A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated and the circumstances are still being established. They are working on the version that the crime was committed due to hooligan motives, the prosecutor's office indicated.
The prosecution is about to impose a 72-hour measure, after which the court will be asked to impose a permanent measure of “detention in custody”.
