The regional directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Yambol refutes anonymous messages on social networks about attempts to abduct children in the city.
The spokeswoman of the directorate, Tatiana Pavlova, assured the BNT camera that at the moment no reports have been filed by parents or guardians about such incidents and emphasized that the spread statements do not correspond to the truth.
The posts reach a wide range of users, including children, which brings unnecessary tension and negative consequences, the police said. An investigation into the case has begun in RU-Yambol.
