The parents of the twins from Tsalapitsa: They were scared and therefore did not report to the police, but went to the sea - 1

The parents of the Dinkov twins from Tsalapitsa, sentenced to 3 years in prison for concealment in the case of the murder of Dimitar Malinov, spoke for the first time. They gave evidence in the trial, which is being conducted against Rangel Bizyurev, accused of murdering the 24-year-old, BNT reports.

According to Yordanka and Petar Dinkovi, their sons were very scared and therefore did not report to the police, but went to the sea.

The boys thought that Rangel Bizyurev would confess and surrender, but at the same time they felt threatened by him.

Prosecutor Boyka Lulcheva was removed from the case today because of threats to her by the victim's mother. It has become clear that she has also lodged a complaint with the police. Another prosecutor from the district prosecutor's office in Plovdiv took her place.

Another challenge was made in the courtroom today – the lawyer of the murdered boy's maternal grandmother also felt under pressure and failed to explain to her client that the twins could not be accused in this trial now.

"When we were standing outside, those accompanying Atanaska came and told me: "You are backing away from Atanaska's position, get out of the case,'' said lawyer Evdokia Kemalova, defending Dimitar Malinov's grandmother.

"I am the substitute prosecutor, and in my colleague's absence I have carried out procedural actions. For me, things are going according to law. Verbal and written evidence is collected. Expertises are heard. There is simply no other option in a court session," said Boris Mihov, prosecutor in OP-Plovdiv.

"Since the first court session, I - Mrs. Boyka Lulcheva, the district prosecutor overseeing the case, have not seen her until the first session here in court, nor have we talked in any way, I have not had contact with her. Let her say where I threatened her, how I threatened her, and what's going on. She did not protect our rights in any way, state indictment. The one who should protect our rights is against us," Atanaska Bakalova, Dimitar Malinov's mother, also said.
