Border police officers at the Gyurghevo-Ruse border crossing found and confiscated until the end of the investigation, a car worth 200,000 lei /about BGN 80,000/, FOCUS reported.
The car was reported stolen by the authorities in Russia, who seized it some time ago.
The car was found on November 8 at around 2:20 p.m., when a 44-year-old Bulgarian driver wanted to enter Romania via the Danube Bridge. He was driving a van carrying a platform with a passenger car with German registration.
During the inspections, the border police found that the car was stolen and a report was filed about it by the Russian authorities, writes RuseMedia. The car, valued at 200,000 lei, has been impounded to continue the investigation.
