17-year-old Ivan Kostov was charged with the crime, and was left in custody permanently.
„There is a fundamental problem here in terms of investigative work. Such cases are not uncommon. When someone disappears, it is a weakness of the operational search services that the person is taken a little lightly - – „he went somewhere“, „he was delayed somewhere“. It should not be underestimated and an investigation should be started immediately to establish facts and circumstances surrounding his absence," the expert believes.
