An entire family - a man, his wife and their 23-year-old son were detained in a specialized police operation after drugs, scales and money hidden in the bathroom were found in their home in the Burgas neighborhood "Pobeda".
The operation was carried out on Friday evening jointly by officers of the "Criminal Police" department at the Burgas Department of Internal Affairs, First Regional Directorate - Burgas and the "Special Tactical Actions" sector. The uniformed officers searched a private home located on "Opalchenska" street in the seaside town.
During the search, about 110 grams of pico, several jumpers made into doses, scales, other items for distributing the drug and numerous phones were found and seized. The amount of nearly 2,100 leva was also found. The banknotes were wet - probably due to an attempt to hide them in the bathroom.
A 44-year-old criminal from Burgas - the owner of the house, his wife and his 23-year-old son, who tried to escape through a window of the apartment, were detained. He was detained minutes later in a neighboring property. We recall that the family was arrested again at the end of September last year for distributing synthetic drugs.
