For the tenth consecutive year, Lozenets and Tsarevo will once again become a point of attraction for art lovers. The anniversary edition of the “Art Potok“ festival will be held from July 18 to 28 and will offer a rich palette of events - concerts, theater performances, literary premieres, exhibitions and meetings with the most beloved Bulgarian artists. The organizers from Hacienda Beach and the Municipality of Tsarevo promise unforgettable days and evenings, filled with emotions, creativity and sea magic, in the spirit of the tradition that “Art Potok“ has created and established over the last decade.
“When we started ten years ago, we dreamed of “Art Potok“ to become a true home of art by the sea. Today we can proudly say that this is a reality. There is no other forum that offers meetings between the public and artists, between tradition and innovation, between culture and nature. Every summer proves to us that art has a place everywhere – even under the open sky in the region of our beautiful Southern Black Sea Coast. The anniversary edition is special not only for us, but also for all who have been part of this cultural journey over the years. We thank the audience, the artists and the Tsarevo municipality, with whom we built this tradition together. Personally, I draw inspiration from my travels to mystical places, and the team from the atmosphere in Lozenets, which predisposes to creating something truly special – symbol of freedom, ease and connection between culture and the audience“, shares the creator of “Art Potok, producer Dimitar Todoranov.
For the first time this year, the LUNAR festival will realize its maritime edition LUNAR: “Sea of Lights“ (organized by the Municipality of Lozenets and MP-STUDIO), which will take place between August 1 and 4, offering captivating light art along the Black Sea coast. One of the hosts of the art event will be Lozenets, and the Hacienda Beach club and the local park will be illuminated with a laser show and dynamic installations. LUNAR will also visit Tsarevo, Ahtopol and Sinemorets. On August 1 and 2, the first edition of the Lozenets Music Fest will also be held, and on the open stage in the park of the Black Sea village there will be concerts by the rap star V:RGO and the band “Molets“. The concerts will be free of charge.
A traditionally strong summer is coming to the Southern Black Sea Coast, and the start of the 2025 season will be set on June 6 with the Spanish top DJ Jo Diem, when the renovated Hacienda Beach club opens. It will attract locals and guests of Lozenets with a changed interior and a new art installation by South African artist Willem Botha (who worked for most of the box office productions of the film studio “New Boyana“). The impressive composition “Hummingbird“, inspired by the symbolism of the hummingbird - delicacy, energy and transformation, promises to become one of the most memorable artistic installations at Hacienda. “Why exactly a hummingbird? Because it is small and fast... but it carries a soul. Just like the moments we create in the club - fast but unforgettable. Hummingbird appeared not as a symbol, but as a sign. On ease, on freedom and on the connection between the invisible and the real“, shares Dimitar Todoranov.
The fourth edition of the “Jazz“ festival will be held in Lozenets from June 27 to 29. The first day of the festival will be held under the motto “The Golden Years of Jazz“. Headliners will be the most famous Bulgarian double bassist Dimitar Karamfilov, trumpeter Mihail Yosifov, Milen Kokusharov on piano, Atanas Popov on drums and singer Marina Gospodinova. On June 28, the native jazz diva Beloslava will give a concert in the company of Zhivko Petrov - piano, Rosen Zahariev - trumpet, Dimitar Karamfilov - bass and Dimitar Semov - drums. The festival will be closed on June 29 with a concert by the Giardino Mare trio.
The “Art Potok“ festival (July 18-28) is organized for the tenth consecutive year by Hacienda Beach and the Municipality of Tsarevo. This year, the forum is realized with the financial support of the NFK. It will be opened on July 18 at the Historical Museum of Tsarevo with the exhibition “Chaos“. In addition to well-known and established names, young authors who will make their debut will also take part in it, among them are students from the New Bulgarian University, the National Academy of Arts - Sofia and the branch of the academy in Burgas. Artists Lilyana Alexandrova, Jacqueline Karakoleva, India Karmova and others will present their works. The young and talented Tsvetelia Kutin, a psychology student, will present her paintings for the first time. Her passion is the human body and portraiture. In her work, she strives to capture the expressiveness of the gaze, to convey emotions without the need for words. She mainly paints with charcoal, graphite and ink, but often likes to experiment with different materials outside her comfort zone. Tsvetelia is a representative of the renowned online community Girls UnderQuarantine, which is aimed at women and aims to provide a safe and supportive platform for their personal and professional development. “Chaos“ will feature various authors with various techniques on canvas, paper and plastics - a true celebration of vision.
This year, during “Art Potok“ 2025, there will also be several maritime theater premieres. The opening on July 18 will be with the play by Dario Fo and Franca Rame “Open Married Couple“, staged by Vladlen Alexandrov with the participation of Alexandra Sarchadzhieva and Filip Bukov. On July 19, the production of the Shumen Theater “Vasil Drumev” will have its summer premiere - “Full Madness - 100 Minutes of Laughter”. The dizzying comedy spectacle features the participation of favorite Bulgarian actors Krastyo Lafazanov, Lyubo Neykov and Petyo Petkov-Shaybata. On July 25, the solo performance of actress Natalia Tsekova “The Taste of Life“ by author Zdrava Kamenova will be performed, and the scenography is by Stefaniya Koleva. The next day, July 26, Zdrava Kamenova will have the premiere of her author's performance “Woman at Sea”. All theater performances will be performed on the stage of the local community center “Georgi Kondolov”, Tsarevo from 9:00 p.m. At “Art Potok” This year, Nina Nikolina and Kalin Veliov will also perform with the stage musical spectacle "Traditions", which will be presented in Ahtopol. Traditionally, during "Art Potok" the most popular Bulgarian authors will also be guests with premieres of their new books. On July 20, Georgi Milkov will have his presentation at By The Way with his new book "Rhinoceros in the Bathroom and More New Stories from the Hand Luggage" (Knigomania). On July 21, the famous TV presenter and journalist Radina Chervenova will be a guest in Lozenets with her first novel "Before I Wasn't There" (Kolibri). On July 22, TV producer and author Georgi Toshev will present his biographical book about Lili Ivanova (Siela), and his documentary film "The Legend of Lili" will also have its premiere. On July 24, the best-selling Bulgarian writer Maria Laleva returns to the Black Sea village, where she will meet with her readers and present her latest novel "Paths of Fire" (Knigomania). The book premieres continue on July 25 with Zdrava Kamenova and her "Funny Help", and on July 26 in the afternoon on the beach at the Jpsy bar Ivo Siromahov will tell funny stories from his latest book "The Writers' Farm" (Siela). The finale of "Art Potok" will be reserved for the legend of Bulgarian pop music Vasil Naydenov, who on July 27 at 9:00 p.m. will give a big concert at the Square in Tsarevo. The performance will be free of charge and will officially close the anniversary edition of the cultural forum. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of “Art Potok“, on July 28, Hacienda Beach is organizing a “Shorts Ball“, which will bring together all artists, friends and like-minded people who will celebrate by the sea in a bohemian way – with songs, memories and glasses in hand.
For the 14th party season of Hacienda Beach, both young and world-famous DJs have been invited to visit Lozenets. Over the years, young and ambitious artists have left the club, who are currently among the top names on the world music scene. The resort village continues to compete with destinations such as Mykonos, Ibiza, Marbella and Saint-Tropez. Hacienda Beach will welcome nightlife fans with a renovated interior, an expanded terrace and the latest sound system generated by artificial intelligence (AI). This summer, Hacienda is once again betting on female DJs who bring a different charge. Among the guests, the names of the Greek Evanjelia (June 13-14), a popular radio host who entertains club audiences in Athens and Mykonos, Lunnas (June 20-21), Katya Livigston (June 27-28), who is a resident of the private club Annabels in London, Sonadora (July 04-05), known from the club scene in Tulum, Pausa (July 11-12), Claudia Leon (July 18-19), Stasi Sanlin (July 25-26). This summer, the young Greek sensation Ezara will also be playing by the small beach of Lozenets, who will arrive directly from Miami Beach. The guest appearance of the DJ duos Lunnas, Pauza and Malix (they are in the TOP-5 of the world DJ ranking), who are coming to Bulgaria for the first time, since it was from Hacienda that the rise of the world-famous Spanish women from Mestiza began.
